Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Once again I am raising funds in order to spend my hard-earned annual leave volunteering on an Earthwatch conservation project.
This time I'll be heading off in September to Australia to work on Earthwatch's brand new Conserving Koala Country project.
As a volunteer on this project I will be working in the Great Otway National Park conducting valuable research on koala habitats to understand the impact of climate change on their population and behavior.
Increasing temperatures, declining rainfall and increased likelihood of fire events are all threats facing koalas. An understanding of the response of koalas to climate change is crucial for the conservation of their population and habitats.
Of course I'll be doing something more to earn your donations. I'm hopefully going to be doing the Lake District 3000. This is, climbing the four peaks over 3000ft in the Lake District over 2 days.
I can not do this without your support; all the money I raise will go to Earthwatch and towards this valuable project.
Thank you very much for your generosity.
