Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in ChallengeCopenhagen on August 15th 2010. I have been training for almost a year now, I have put in many many hours running, cycling and swimming and have covered hundreds of kilometres so far. The challenge is an Iron distance triathlon (3.8k swim, 180k bike, 42k run) being held in central Copenhagen. I want Help For Heroes to benefit from all the time and effort I have put into this. Please take a look at their website. Its a very important cause that deserves all of our support.
There is absolutely no political or religious angle. I just want to raise as much as possible to help the people coming back from conflicts all over the world. Please give generously and I promise to put in 110% effort in my training and to cross the line on August 15th 2010 (or the early hours of the 16th! if I have to!).
I have been keeping a blog (diary) of my efforts so far here: http://longwaytogo-ironman.blogspot.com/ I will try to keep this updated on a daily basis and to add some photos too.
