Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have debated for years about shaving my hair for charity and have finally decided to just do it! I have found this fantastic charity called Little Princess Trust who accept hair donations as then they make them into wigs for children who have lost their hair through illness, generally chemotherapy. So one little girl will soon be wearing my hair as a wig!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
A little about Little Princess Trust:

Registered Charity No. 1113172
We provide real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
As a result of treatment for cancer, most children will suffer hair loss as a side effect. Some boys and girls cope remarkably well but for others this can be very upsetting.
We work with specialist suppliers and experienced hairdressers who offer wigs tailored to the individual child’s needs to give the most realistic look and feel, as close as possible to their original hair. We strive to put parents/carers in contact with suppliers as local as possible.
The Little Princess Trust is a children’s cancer charity and our mission is to supply real-hair wigs to children suffering with cancer, for the duration of their treatment. However, in addition we assist children with other conditions which also result in hair loss, the most common being alopecia. Our commitment to these children is different. Despite being set up to help children with cancer, the Trust is pleased to confirm that we will supply children that do not have a cancer diagnosis with one wig. Whilst we are unable to commit to supplying more than one wig to each child, we hope that this gesture will help the family whilst they decide on their long-term plans for dealing with this condition.
The wigs we provide are free to children. However, the cost of one wig to the charity is on average £350. Any amount of fundraising that you can generate towards this cost will help us to continue to provide wigs to both boys and girls throughout the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
