I managed to run the 13.1 miles in 1hour 59mins and 24secs beating my previous course time by 33secs. I was pleased with this time in light of the number of interruptions I had to my training schedule and had refocused my target to just completing the course!

I will be running in aid of Moira's favourite charity, the NRAS, the only patient led charity for Rheumatoid Arthritis in England. This charity is one of the leading campaigners for getting NICE (National Institute of Clincal Excellence) to rethink patient access to anti -TNF therapy hence Moira's celebrity appearances on Radio 4 and in the Sunday Telegraph!!!

Rheumatoid Arthritis is an auto immune inflammatory disease which can occur at any age and can be found in young children. Moira was diagnosed, out of the blue, at the age of 28! This disease is often misunderstood as being associated with oesteoarthritis.
