London Marathon - Let's be having you!
Catherine Gill is raising money for NSPCC
Story
It's that time of year again,
The marathon is back,
We pootle down to London town,
And trot around the track.
So dig deep you lovely folk,
For the N-S-P-C-C.
Grateful I am sure they'll be,
Wee fellows with the blues,
For any amount - lil or large,
I'll don my running shoes.
My questionable poetry aside... There are far too many helpless children out there who suffer from all kinds of unthinkable abuse, neglect and cruelty and depend solely on the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) for support.
