Those of you who know me will know that in July 2012 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer.   Early days after the diagnosis life felt bleak and my doctors made me feel that my life was to be very short lived.  Having been brought up a fighter as I came out of the other side of those dark days, I started to think that the way forward for me was to build challenges and plan for the future so I settled on doing something I had always wanted to do .. visit China and walk on The Great Wall!   My GP was sceptical, but I am determined to achieve this in Spetember, just over one year after receiving the news.

While I aim to raise money for NW Cancer Research, I am payng for the entire trip (over £2k myself) so that any money I raise will go directly to my chosen charity.

All help however small is much appreciated, and better still the support that I receive from people makes me even more determined to achieve this at all costs.
