2 hockey players, 12 months, 30 Olympic Sports and 1 fantastic Charity! In July 2011, with 365 days to go until the start of the Olympic Games in London, we embarked on our incredible Olympic Gold Challenge journey! In a bid to raise as much money as possible for Maggie's Centres we will complete at least 3 hours worth of coaching, or participate in an official event, for 30 Olympic Sports. As of March 2012 we have already boxed, rowed, canoed, fought, rode and hit our way through 17 sports...so we have 13 to go before the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games! Knowing that our exertions in the boxing ring, on the triathlon course, in the fencing salle and the judo dojo, on the tennis court, in the weightlifting hall and out on the water in the rowing boat will all help to raise valuable funds for Maggie's Cancer Centres helps push us through each sport. We are inspired to achieve the absolute best and a GOLD standard effort in every training session we attend!

Maggie's Centres undertake truly inspirational work for cancer sufferers and it is a cause that is close to both of our hearts.
