The Fire Service work tirelessly every day to save lives, putting others before themselves and continuously work to raise fire safety awareness.

Fire safety awareness from fire safety training I was given helped save our lives. In 2008 my family and I were involved in a devastating house fire which destroyed our family home and we were left without a place to call 'home' for six months. 

The fire service gave me the necessary life skills and knowledge that I needed in that situation, little did I know that I would end up needing to use them at 9 years old! 

Since that day I have been an advocate for raising awareness of fire safety and will continue to do so.

Please support the amazing work that the fire service do everyday and help raise more awareness for fire safety.  They put themselves in danger day in and day out in order to help others and that deserves more recognition.
