On 20th March 2011, I am going to 'attempt' to run the Reading Half Marathon! I am running for a charity called SANDS - Stilbirth and neonatal death charity and really want to raise lots of money to help them in the amazing work that they do.

 

17 babies are stillborn or die after birth everyday in the UK. SANDS believe that this figure is unacceptably high and they want to ensure that as few parents as possible have to experience this devastating loss. With your support, the money and awareness raised, SANDS can continue supporting those affected by the death of a baby and promote research to reduce the loss of babies' lives.

 

Having experienced a terrible loss, this charity is very close to my family's heart so please support me and help me to raise lots of money for this important charity.
