Story

The Place2Be’s Christmas Carol Concert

St Peter’s Church Eaton Square,  Monday 13th December 2010, 7pm

Tickets are £25 each. Please give your full name and the number of tickets required in the comments below (names of your party are not required).  Please DO NOT add gift aid to your donation as ticket sales are not eligible. We will not send tickets but your name will be added to the guest list on the door.

Christmas can be a happy time full of hope and togetherness, but for many families things are different. For the children The Place2Be works with, it can be the time when family separation, bereavement, poverty and loneliness are felt the most.

A festive evening of celebration and support

This Christmas, The Place2Be wants to celebrate the 58,000 children with whom we work, and help raise money to support them next year with a our first ever Carol Concert.

In a stunning location in the heart of Belgravia, we will be bringing together a mixture of 250 local residents, Place2Be supporters and patrons.

The evening will be a traditional, family friendly carol concert involving:

· Professional musicians

· Celebrity readers including Honor Blackman, Sophie Dahl, Nickolas Grace, Terry Jones and Greta Scacchi

· A Place2Be school choir

· Drinks and nibbles after the concert

Please call 020 7923 5519 for further information.
