Story
The perfect day foundation are thrilled to be heading back to Zambia in August of this year, to hold our biggest fundraiser to date. We are very excited to announce that our Patron, Mel Marshall, will be leading a team of 12, to include Olympic Gold Medallist, Adam Peaty, to take on the massive challenge of 50 hours of sport. The event will see the team undertake 10 hours of sport per day for 5 days at 5 different location in Lusaka and the surrounding communities.
We have a fundraising target of £50,000 which will go directly to sustainable causes, making a real difference to the lives of young Zambians. The Perfect Day Foundation continues to support deprived areas of Lusaka covering communities where acute poverty, HIV, homelessness, teenage pregnancy, domestic and gender based violence are all a significant problem.
This money will be used, among our ongoing charity work, to improve educational opportunities for the young children we work with.
In the coming months we will be announcing the list of former athletes that will make up the team.
