The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileIn South Sudan, some 3.4 million women, men and children are displaced from their homes. The economy has collapsed, malnutrition has soared and hunger has taken a firm hold. At least 100,000 are now facing starvation and a further 1 million in the country are on the brink of famine.
The Diocese of Salisbury has been linked to what is now South Sudan for 44 years. We cannot do nothing and Bishop Nicholas is appealing to the Diocese for urgent help for our brothers and sisters.
What we raise from this appeal will be given to Christian Aid’s crisis appeal for South Sudan so that we are part of the coordinated and local response where there is greatest need.
