Story
The RSPCA and Stapeley Grange Wildlife Hospital and Cattery relies heavily on public donations to run it's operations. It costs on average £50,000 to feed and care for the 6700+ animals that arrive at the wildlife hospital and cattery each year.
Through public donations (financial or otherwise) we are running a 12 month campaign that will help us raise enough money to at least cover the costs of feeding the animals, all creatures great and small. Whilst our cats in the cattery and domestic, farm and exotic admissions in the wildlife centre are all looking for their loving forever homes, our wild animals are looking for the support they need before returning to the wild.
Our wildlife casualties are admitted as sick, injured or orphaned and includes larger species such as seals, otters, foxes, badgers, swans and gannets and also the tiniest of creatures such as wood mice, robins and bats. Our team have to provide food, veterinary care and shelter for over 125 species each year which certainly keeps them on their toes.
