Story

For many, Christmas can be the loneliest time of the year. That's one of the reasons why R.A.B.I give festive hampers to those we support long-term, to let them know that somebody cares.

Our hamper campaign is all about meeting basic needs and, at the same time, bringing a bit of happiness to people whose lives are difficult. We are extremely grateful to everyone who sends us a donation to make this dedicated fundraising campaign a success.

Containing store cupboard essentials and a few festive treats, a hamper costs £50 for a single person and £75 for a couple. The total outlay for the campaign is £40,000 per year.

It doesn't matter how old you are, Christmas should be a time of wonder. Showing someone that you have remembered them, that they are not alone and giving them the excitement of unpacking a few carefully chosen treats can lift someone's spirits and bring great comfort. Isn't that what Christmas is really about?
