Story
WM College has been inspiring learning since 1854 and we aim to ensure a balance of provision that meets the needs of all learners, whether they are learners engaging with first steps foundation level provision, those who are seeking to develop and improve their skills for employment or those who are looking for personal development and an opportunity to engage with and enjoy learning.
We provide a welcoming place to study where learners benefit from a broad choice of courses that help them to return to learning. These studies enrich their lives and those of their family and community.
WM College has always been rooted in our local community and we offer help and support to all learners. There are considerable financial issues facing our community and people need help to develop their self-confidence and skills before they can successfully move into employment.
The Covid pandemic has had a huge effect on peoples lives, people have been directly affected and are also facing a wide range of personal and wellbeing issues as a direct result of the lockdown periods. We want to encourage people to join our friendly learning community and discover the joys of learning.
We are now working with Ukrainian refugees and the local families who are helping and supporting them, and we want to be able to extend our provision to support these new members of our local community.
We need your donations so that we can help people return to learning as we do not want any prospective learners to be disadvantaged by their lack of money. Please support us and help us to provide enriching and enjoyable lifelong learning for all.
