Story
At the Westerleigh Group, care is at the heart of what we do. We extend our exceptional care to our bereaved families, our funeral director communities and all employees.
At the start of this year, we wished farewell to our CEO, Roger McLaughlan, who stepped down from his role, after leading the Group for almost two years, due to a positive diagnosis of carrying the gene for Huntington's disease.
Roger joined the company in 2020, leading the business through the COVID-19 pandemic, whilst making an absolute commitment to delivering exceptional care to our families and colleagues alike.
We want to pay tribute to his legacy and show our compassion by joining forces with the Huntington's Disease Association to raise funds to support those affected by this disease.
Our colleagues across England and Wales have committed to organising a number of fundraising activities throughout 2022 to raise funds. Were very grateful for everyone's support, however big or small - it will make a real difference to a small charity supporting those affected.
The Huntington's Disease Association is the only charity supporting families affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales; like us they pursue the best possible care and also provide training and advice to families and professionals, raise awareness and promote research into better treatment and care.
