In Wales it is estimated that 1 in 3 women experience some form of abuse or violence in their lifetime.

Too many women live in relationships dictated by fear, coercive control and abuse.

Too many women experience sexual harassment or assault in the workplace or in other environments.

Stand with Welsh Women's Aid: mark the 'Choose to Challenge' theme of International Women's Day 2021 by hosting a virtual event as part of our Welsh Cakes for Welsh Women's Aid campaign.

How?

Invite colleagues or friends to a virtual 'coffee morning' using the platform of your choice. Donate to this page in support of the campaign, or set up your own fundraising page using the orange button and ask each participant to donate. Then, get your coffee and Welsh Cakes at the ready, and start talking.

Why?

This year, we're asking you to 'Choose to Challenge'  two key issues of violence against women: sexual harassment and/or taking action against violence against women as a bystander. Check our website to access your Resource Toolkit.
