Story
This July, we're celebrating 75 years of the NHS with Wear It Blue!
Every day, the NHS treats over a million people in England. Founded in 1948, the NHS was the first universal health system to be available to all, free at the point of delivery. Since then, the NHS has innovated and adapted to meet the needs of each generation.
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust serves a population of approximately 600,000 people across Hampshire and parts of west Berkshire and cares for patients in Basingstoke, Winchester, Andover and Alton hospitals.
As their charity, we raise funds to support their patients, staff and volunteers. This could be refurbishing wards, investing in equipment, funding staff welfare initiatives and so much more.
So, join us on Friday 7th July by grabbing your favourite blue jumper or pulling on some blue socks for Wear It Blue!
Let's celebrate our local NHS, together.
