If you’ve supported Tibet Match in the past – thank you. In 2023, you raised £32,762. And in 2024, we reached a record-breaking total of £45,075. From Monday 17th March, for one week only, your donation will have double power. Any donation you make will be matched by a generous sponsor up to a total of £30,000.Your support means that the cutting-edge research of Tibet Watch will continue for another year.
Tibet Watch are the leading experts in sourcing and sharing information about what’s happening in occupied Tibet: one of the most closed-off places in the world. Using satellite and drone images, first-hand testimonies, and open-source policy research, Tibet Watch is building a picture of a human rights crisis that continues to escalate.
Last year, Tibet Watch uncovered and exposed more of China’s repression in Tibet than ever before. Your generosity helped secure dozens of interviews with Tibetan refugees and led to two hard-hitting new reports, “Occupying Tibet’s rivers: China’s hydropower ‘battlefield’ in Tibet” and “The Risks of China’s Dangerous Dam-Building in Tibet: The impacts of China’s move upstream on the Machu/Yellow River”. We have upcoming reports on linguicide and surveillance, issues that are critical to Tibet's future. Your support will help ensure these vital reports reach the right people and inspire global action for Tibetan freedom.
