The Sunshine Run 5K is an annual fundraising event hosted by The Chronicle Sunshine Fund. For the 4th year it's sponsored by loyal supporters and friends of the charity, Stagecoach.

The route is fast and flat and takes runners past Newcastle Quayside, down by the business park and back to a spectacular photo finish in front of the city's iconic bridges.

All money raised allows us to continue to support local babies, children and young people living with disabilities, additional needs and terminal illness, by funding equipment and providing inclusive activities for families in our community.
