Story
Support us on our journey!
We are aiming to walk from Northwick Park Hospital to Central Middlesex Hospital and finish at Ealing Hospital on Sunday 28 January to raise funds for all the projects in the Transformation Appeal.
This nearly six hour walk will be a stark change from sitting behind a desk, and we will need your help to get to the finish line, whatever the weather!
In December, we announced the four winning projects that will receive funding from the £1m pledged by the charity.
We may have had to pick just four, but with you submitting more than 1300 projects, there were huge numbers of exceptional ideas up for discussion – and we’d love to see many more of them come alive.
Our transformation appeal aims to fund some of those fantastic projects, making our hospitals a place of healing, hope and innovation, such as:
- Creating a tuberculosis isolation room in Ealing Hospital
- A Trust wide arts programme for staff and patients
- Anti-racism and inclusion training all staff
You can start supporting the appeal right now by sponsoring our hospital walk.
Those taking part include:
• Pippa Nightingale, our Chief Executive
• James Walters, our chief operating officer
• James Biggin-Lamming, our director of strategy and transformation
• Mark Titcomb, managing director for the elective orthopaedic centre, CMH and Ealing
• Miriam Harris, Ealing site medical director
Proceeds walk will go directly to our transformation appeal.
