For over two decades, under our founder David Hayman, Spirit Aid has been fighting for, and providing a voice for children, both here and abroad. We are swimming against a very strong tide, and despite our work, we are seeing a rise in child poverty in the communities we work in. It is part of a bigger picture where we are seeing even those in work struggling to pay their rent, their power bills and for food. We are seeing pensioners unable to heat their homes, as cost of living increases push more and more people in to fuel poverty.

The reality for us is that to do the work that we do, we need money... a lot of money. We are staffed by volunteers and keep our costs to a bare minimum, so we can put the money where it is needed.
