Our amazing runners Gicu, Adriana and Mihai are dedicating this half marathon to the dogs. They are running not just for the challenge, but to help transform the lives of the dogs who endure these conditions every winter.

As many of you have seen, the recent snow, rapid melting and heavy rain caused devastating flooding inside the dogs' pens. One area of our 15 large pens is repeatedly the most critical, with water and ice flowing directly into the dogs' living space. The conditions have been heartbreaking. This work is urgently needed but it comes at a significant cost.
