On the 30th of September, a team from Shine Lincolnshire, alongside Jim from Jims Gym will be setting out to tackle the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, this will be a test of both physical and mental fitness.

The aim is to raise money for Shine Lincolnshire to be able to help fund even more groups, activities and projects across the county that provide support for people's mental health and well-being.

The challenge involves consists of a 24 mile walk as well as ascending and descending the 3 peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and under 12 hours if possible.

Shine's mascot Bert has mentioned that he would love to be attempting this amazing challenge but for now he's sticking to flat ground but will be cheering them on and is looking forward to greeting them on their return to Lincolnshire.
