Visit the charity's profileThe Southcoast VNA Supportive Care Center (formally Southcoast VNA Hospice & Palliative Care) is committed to improving quality of life for both patients and their families by reducing the physical and emotional burdens of serious or life-ending illness. Care is focused on comfort to help patients manage the symptoms and stresses caused by their illness.
Thank you so much for the care and compassion you showed in caring for my mother in her final days. Knowing that you were there made things easier for my dad. You gave him a much needed break, but more than that you gave him peace of mind. He knew he was in good hands until the end. - Family of T.B
The Southcoast VNA Supportive Care Center brings comfort, support and healing to more than 300 patients and their families everyday including:
*Expert medical care for pain and symptom management
*Alternative therapies for improved comfort including Massage, Reiki and Aromatherapy
*Companionship and respite provided by passionate and committed volunteers
*Grief counseling for loved ones
*Community support groups and programs for adults and children
