Story
Join Race for Cheetahs 2023 and help save the cheetah from extinction.
Over the past 50 years, cheetahs have become extinct in at least 13 African countries. Across Africa, their numbers have plummeted from 100,000 at the turn of the 20th century, to less than 7,100 today (a loss of 93%). Their homeland, for which they rely on for food, shelter, and breeding, has reduced by 91% of its historic range. Wild cheetahs are faced with extinction and the race is on to save them...
...with your help, it can be won!

What is Race for Cheetahs?
Race for Cheetahs is an inclusive participation event that you can do in your own way and in your own time. Our goal is to achieve a collective 7,100 kms travelled, each km represents 1 cheetah remaining in the wild. We are raising funds to help protect cheetahs to remain in the wild.
Run, jog, walk, cycle, swim, hop, climb - it’s totally up to you! Take part on your own or as part of a team.
