Story

Step into adventure with us this Walking Month of May as CBA staff embark on an incredible 202-mile walking challenge across the UK! To celebrate our 80th birthday we're traversing the equivalent journey from the historic space of our first meeting at Burlington House, London in 1944 to our new headquarters in York.

Along the way, we'll traverse historic sites, picturesque landscapes, and hidden treasures that reveal the UK's rich heritage. From bustling city streets to serene countryside paths, each step brings us closer to our destination.

As we trek, we'll share our expedition with you, showcasing the beauty of our surroundings and the magnificence of the UK's shared cultural heritage.

Join us on this journey of discovery and get out and about to explore archaeology near you. Help support our journey and shape the future of archaeology by donating to our campaign, or joining us on your own sponsored walk.
