What is Mission Maker Month?

Mission Maker Month is Mission Direct’s June fundraising campaign. For 30 days - from 1 to 30 June 2026 - we’re inviting supporters across the UK to get involved in whatever way suits them: baking, moving, hosting an event, giving directly, or simply asking 30 friends to give £30 each.

Together, we’re aiming to raise £30,000 in 30 days. Every pound raised will help to support Mission Direct’s work overseas - the partnerships, the projects, and the people who make it all possible.

Who is Mission Direct?

For over 20 years, Mission Direct has been matching volunteers with communities across Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean - working alongside local people to build schools, homes, and hope.

Our approach is simple and powerful: we make long-term commitments to carefully chosen partner communities overseas, and UK volunteers join their work for two-week placements. Those volunteers contribute to practical building projects that the communities themselves have designed - and will sustain long after our volunteers leave.

Since 2004, Mission Direct has helped more than 305,000 children, supported the building of 55 schools, sent over 600 teams around the world, and worked in 16 different countries. Every project is community-led. Every partnership is built to last.

Mission Direct is a trusted UK Christian charity. Our faith motivates everything we do, and we welcome volunteers who share our passion for practical, long-term change in genuine partnership with local communities.

Why your support matters

Mission Direct receives no statutory funding. Not a penny from government.

Every school built, every volunteer sent, every community partnership sustained - it is made possible entirely by people like you. Donors, fundraisers, churches, and supporters who believe that mission is possible and choose to be part of it.

How to get involved

There are 30 ways to fundraise – and one very simple way to give. You can:

● Set up your own linked JustGiving page - for a sponsored walk, bake sale, hosted event, or any challenge you choose - and your fundraising feeds directly into this campaign total

● Give directly into this page - any amount, any time during June

● Ask 30 friends to give £30 each - that’s £900 raised plus Gift Aid, from conversations rather than events
