It is perfect for running the 21K and 10K races. This track, which has no altitude difference, offers athletes a unique opportunity to do their best. But this is not the only feature that makes this track unique: The Historic Peninsula Track, surrounded on one side with the view of the Marmara Sea, the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn, and on the other side with a historical texture dating back to 8,000 years, gives runners no choice but to enjoy the race.

At this years Istanbul Half Marathon and 10K run, we will supporting children suffering from the life threating Congenital Heart Defects. Your fundraising efforts will help us provide free treatment to children from underprivileged backgrounds in Africa and Asia.

The programme was first launched in 2012, and in the last nine years, the mission has travelled to nine different countries carrying out over 25,00 operations and interventions.
Muntada Aid's Little Hearts project provides free life-saving heart surgeries to babies and children with Congenital Heart Defects from underprivileged families irrespective of gender, race or religion.
A small donation from you can go a long way in securing a child's life.
