Montco understands how valuable and rewarding hands-on experience can be while pursuing a career. We also know how challenging and costly it can be to get a project from concept, to reality, to optimized finished product. Our INNOVA concept vehicle program is no exception.

The Project INNOVA team placed second in its category at the Shell Eco-marathon Americas 2024 regional competition in Indianapolis April 3-7. Montco was the only community college participating in the international event.

That’s why we are writing to you today to ask for your support as Team Montco works to take its Project INNOVA to new heights.

With the competition in the rearview mirror, the team is focused on finding ways to bring new members better into the fold. Current members will work on building a second car for the prototype category of the competition. New members will be tasked with updating the current INNOVA car, which includes a new transmission, new motor, rear suspension, a change in the body shape spacing and to modify the fuel cell.

To reach their current goals team must raise $25,000. Your donation will help them realize the vision for INNOVA-4.0 and inspire this team of dedicated students to pursue their passion for engineering, innovation, and conservation.
