Story
10 climbs. 24 hours. Supporting people in our community.
In May 2027, we’re taking on 10YFAN — climbing Pen y Fan 10 times within 24 hours — to raise money for Hospice of the Valleys.
Starting at 6pm on Saturday 8 May, we’ll take on the mountain through the evening, overnight and into the following day.
Because this challenge is about more than climbing a mountain.
Hospice of the Valleys supports people in Blaenau Gwent who are living with a life-limiting condition, along with their loved ones. The hospice works alongside people to help them live well for as long as possible, shaped around what matters most to them, through to the end of life.
As a local charity, Hospice of the Valleys relies on the support of the community to continue this work. Your donation helps sustain specialist palliative support locally, so people and their loved ones can access support when they need it most.
So, as we take on each climb, we’ll know that every step is helping support an important local service and the people it is there for.
Please sponsor our challenge and help Hospice of the Valleys continue to support people and their loved ones across Blaenau Gwent.
Thank you for being part of our challenge.
