EVERY HEART DESERVES TO BEAT
Each year an estimated 1,500,000 babies are born worldwide with a congenital heart defect, and nearly 10 per cent do not survive their first year of life.
In poor underdeveloped countries, the lack of specialised medical infrastructure means babies born with congenital heart defects have little or no access to necessary treatment.
We believe ignoring this deadly killer is tantamount to a death sentence for the many children born with this disease.
Most of these conditions can be fixed, but children suffer due to a lack of resources, infrastructure, and specialist medical staff.
ABOUT LITTLE HEARTS
The programme was first launched in 2012, and in the last nine years, the mission has travelled to nine different countries carrying out over 25,00 operations and interventions.
Muntada Aid's Little Hearts project provides free life-saving heart surgeries to babies and children with Congenital Heart Defects from underprivileged families irrespective of gender, race or religion.
A small donation from you can go a long way in securing a child's life.
This Programme is ZAKAT Eligible.
