Thanks to our amazing supporters, we have been able to meet our first challenge surviving the initial devastating drop in income and supporting our families to protect themselves at home. However, our loss of income will continue for some time, including a period of recovery over the coming months and years that carries huge uncertainty. This impact could affect our ability to deliver vital care and support to families in the future.

We had no choice but to suspend our planned care activities; including short breaks, wellbeing therapies, groups and events, face-to-face counselling and our Help at Home volunteering service. We continue to provide end of life care, bereavement support and emergency crisis care for children and their families at home and in the hospices, and have introduced many innovative ways of supporting families online.

We are now seeing an increased number of requests for support as families become exhausted from providing care on their own and there will be a significant surge in need as shielding restrictions lift we have to be able to offer our full range of services as soon as it is safe to do so.

With your help we can continue to provide a lifeline to families across East Anglia who are undoubtedly even more concerned about their childs wellbeing than usual, and who will need all of the care and support that EACH can provide to see them through this difficult time.
