Story
Let's brew some good this February in support of children with cancer.
Every month across the island of Ireland, approximately 40 children and young people (aged 0-24) are diagnosed with cancer.
February 15th marks International Childhood Cancer Day, designed to raise awareness of the impact of childhood cancer on the whole family and to generate vital funds so these families don’t face their experience alone. By taking on a coffee morning throughout this month, you will be enabling our Cancer Support Specialists to provide emotional, social and therapeutic support to children, young people and families when they need it most, at home, in hospital and at our therapeutic short break centre, Daisy Lodge.
It is the perfect event to kickstart your New Year fundraising efforts for an amazing cause at home with family and friends, with your colleagues, or at school, club or local community group.
Pop that kettle out and get the buns ready and, together, we can help ensure that no child has to face cancer alone. We simply couldn't be there for them without you.
