Story
The Catholic Children's Society (CCS) is a local charity that helps vulnerable children and families. Over the past three years, we have helped over 26,000 disadvantaged children and families. Right now we are working to help local vulnerable families through the cost of living crisis, providing immediate support when they have nowhere else to turn.
Lent Appeal: Building Bridges
We have been inspired by Pope Francis's call to 'build bridges, not walls' and are encouraging pupils to find ways to connect and help others in their time of need.
Our Lent resources have been developed by our team of counsellors and therapists to help promote positive connections. To access the resources, click here.
You can also watch our online assembly here to learn more about CCS, what we do and how your school's support will make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children in your community.
Fundraise for CCS this Lent
Every penny raised through this appeal will directly help local children and families.
There are lots of ways you can fundraise for CCS and help local families in need. You can take part in a fundraising challenge on your own, in your class or with your wider community. Check out our school fundraising pack here for ideas and inspiration.
