Carols for Everyone
A unique performance of traditional carols recorded in the Chapter House at Southwell Minster, to raise funds for two local charities in the Nottinghamshire town of Southwell.
Story
The Carols for Everyone community carol concert has taken place in Southwell, Nottinghamshire for over 30 years. The funds raised through ticket sales are donated to local charities and overseas charities with a connection to Southwell. This year, the Covid-19 restrictions mean that the concert cannot take place.
Southwell Lions are indebted to the Southwell Renaissance Singers who have recorded a CD of Christmas Carols and made the carols available for everyone through the Lions website; whether it is to just listen to the carols or download them.
The money raised by donations through the website is being split equally between REACH learning disability and MHA Southwell Live at Home scheme.
