Story
On 10 September Kingston Hospital lost a dear friend, Serge Lourie - former Non-Executive Director and Acting Chair, fundraiser and volunteer at Kingston Hospital.
Serge was a keen runner and enthusiast to getting people involved. He had his own Couch to 5k running group for people to get fit and to build their confidence and ability in running.
In honour of Serge, for each staff member who participates in the Bushy Christmas 10k or 5k, Kingston Hospital Charity is matching their fundraising efforts pound for pound, up to £78—the age Serge was when he passed. We feel this is a wonderful way to pay tribute to his legacy while making a positive impact in the community; much like Serge himself.
All funds raised and matched from this event, will be allocated to the respective services/departments/wards to continue creating top quality facilities, driving innovation, performing research, and enhancing patient and staff wellbeing.
Your donation will help us continue to do this. Everything we can achieve is because of the generosity of our supporters.
With gratitude,
Kingston Hospital Charity
