Story

The RSPCA Hull and East Riding Rescue Centre has been supporting local animals in the Hull and East Riding community for 83 years. Although part of the RSPCA family, we have a separate charity number which means all our income generation is raised locally and 100% goes back into caring for local animals, rescued from abuse or neglect and cared for in our rescue centre on Clough Road in Hull.

The centre is currently in the final stage of a £1million rebuild to transform the facilities which sadly became unfit for purpose in 2019 and the kennels had to be closed.

The new build will ensure the animals rescued from neglect and abuse have a safe and warm home while they recover, rehabilitate and eventually find their forever homes.

About the charity

The RSPCA in Hull and East Riding works to promote kindness and prevent and oppose cruelty to animals throughout Hull and the East Riding. It promotes responsible pet ownership, through education, and delivers effective relief of animal suffering looking after injured and neglected animals.
