Countless families are suffering from constant crisis, Instability & extreme poverty in Pakistan. An estimated 60% of the Pakistani population does not have access to a constant food supply leaving many to wonder where their next meal is going to come from.
Access to clean water has also been a huge struggle over the last few years. Pakistan is facing the worse drought in decades which further contributes to the high levels of poverty in the country. Besides quenching their thirst, families are also unable to access water to grow crops, feed their cattle, stay clean & earn a living.
In a country where nearly 60% of the population live on or below the line of poverty, gaining access to the basic necessities required for their survival can be a daunting process. As a last resort many will walk miles each day on an empty stomach in search of food & water.
The Muslim Relief team has been working on the ground in Pakistan since the severe earthquake in 2005. Since then your support has enabled our teams to provide food, emergency aid, support for orphans, water wells, as well as educational resources to benefit underprivileged families.
By supporting our cause today you are ensuring the protection of many poor families, orphans, widows & children suffering across Pakistan.
From East Africa, to the Middle East, to South East Asia, last Ramadan as well as throughout this year you have helped the Muslim Relief team deliver aid to countless families in urgent need.
Muslim Relief is a Non-Profit Organisation based & registered in the United Kingdom. Our mission consists of providing aid to save lives particularly in instances of emergency, despair & severe hardship.
Our organisation operates in many countries worldwide focusing on a variety of projects e.g. Providing emergency food, shelter, medical aid, organising mass feedings, supporting orphan & widow care, providing education, supplying clean water & much more.
We are not by any means a pressure based charity, in most cases we allow donators to choose the amount most affordable to them. No donation is too big or small, our aim is to make every penny count.
At Muslim Relief we implement a multi-focus approach, we carefully plan & execute each project in an effective manner. Every project varies however we try to reach out to the maximum amount of poor & needy people.
Our projects are usually a combination of emergency aid as well as other actions including providing short & long term poverty relief to sustain those who are in urgent need.
