Story

As a part of her Miss World Canada Nationals journey, Nikita is working on a personal project called "Beauty with a Purpose". Her project focuses on raising awareness of and breaking the stigma around mental health illness. As someone who has personally experienced and overcome anxiety, mental health illness is very close to Nikita's heart. She is fulfilling her project by sharing content on social media including her "Mental Health Mondays" series, raising funds for CMHA-YRSS, learning about mental health & well-being through retreats, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training, CMHA workshops, courses, and more, and finally sharing her learning on social media to provide information and resources and to encourage people to focus on their mental well-being.

Net proceeds from the 'Note to Health' concert will be donated to the CMHA-YRSS, specifically to the MOBYSS . MOBYSS is Ontario's first mobile walk-in clinic that provides primary care and mental health care to youth between the ages of 12 - 25. You can donate through this donation platform. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and will help us in reaching our fundraising goal.

The Note to Health concert will begin with a social hour, followed by the concert . The event will feature performances by local musicians and artists, including a performance by classical vocalist, Diana Calautti, and Nikita Dani, singer-songwriter, Nicole Jaskot, and a headlining performance by award-winning artist and producer, Neel Dani. We are delighted to have Mr. Venki Raman as our event's official Guest Speaker. Mr. Raman is a former CIBC Executive and VP leading several National teams. Now an Executive Coach practicing energy leadership, Mr. Raman coaches senior executives, leaders, entrepreneurs, athletes, artists, and myself, a model. Mr. Raman's talk will focus on well-being, and will provide us with strategies that we can implement to improve our own well-being. Our Guest of Honour is to be announced soon. There will be refreshments, food, raffle prizes, and more.

This is a private, ticketed event. For more information on the concert please email notetohealthevent@gmail.com
