Visit the charity's profileAt last we can go ahead & organise our postponed 2021 Swimarathon for Sunday 4th July 2021, in the amazing new Braywick Leisure Centre for the first time. It was originally scheduled to happen as usual in January, but lockdown restrictions prevented that. We can now go ahead, and are happily receiving bookings from many of our regular teams. It's all systems go.
In January 2020, at the old Magnet pool, over 100 teams of 8 of all ages & abilities, swam in relay, 8 teams on each hour. They raised a magnificent total of over £40,000 including Gift Aid. This was shared between each teams chosen good cause and Lions charities. It was out most successful year to date. Can we do better in 2021? All the photos are from the years at the Magnet.
