After consultation with our Charity Trustees, we have taken the decision to stage our 2020 ride as our FIRST EVER VIRTUAL RIDE.

All money raised goes to our organising charity Joining Jack to fund research into potential life-savng treatments for all boys living with the currently incurable muscle-wasting disease Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

We are calling on our army of Joining Jack supporters to get on their bikes, get Wigan on Wheels and help us smash through the £100,000 barrier for the Wigan Bike Ride - launched first back in 2017. The event has previously raised £95,000 over the past three years and 2020 would have seen us smash through the £100,000 target. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event as we know it has had to be cancelled and our organising charity's fundraising will be dramatically down, meaning less projects will be funded and the the boys living with Duchenne will be further than ever away from receiving treatments. Please help us make a difference and help bridge the fundraising gap.
