Story

Greenock Medical Aid Society is a non profit charity based in Greenock, Inverclyde, Scotland. We have been delivering a high standard of quality care and nursing support to older people for over 100 years. We are looking for your financial support to help us enhance the quality of life for our residents who we care for. Since the pandemic, we have had to adapt and change our delivery of care and find new ways of engaging with our residents. Ongoing repairs and maintenance costs are rising and this has an impact on funds that we would normally use to support the additional activities and resources that we provide for our residents. More than ever now, we look to technology as a way of engaging with our residents and connecting them with friends and family. We require additional funds to support this. We would love to create a new outdoor space for our residents which will provide a happy and nurturing environment for them to feel safe, but sadly our running costs are impacting on our ability to proceed with our plan. We recognise that financial constraints are affecting many people in our society, and even if you can give a small amount towards our costs this will go a long way to help support the work that we do.
