Story
The Catholic Children's Society (CCS) is a local charity that helps vulnerable children and families. Throughout the pandemic CCS has supported over 12,000 disadvantaged children and families through our services, including providing mental health support and emergency help to local families via our Crisis Fund.
Lent Appeal: One Community
We have been inspired by Pope Francis' call to support everyone's mental health by building a 'culture of community'.
Our Lent resources have been developed by our team of counsellors and therapists to help promote positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in school communities. To access these resources, click here .
This Lent we are going to look after each other as part of 'One Community'. You can watch our online assembly here to learn more about CCS, what we do and how your support will make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and families in your local community.
Fundraise for CCS this Lent
Every penny raised through this appeal will directly help local disadvantaged children and families.
There are lots of ways you can fundraise for CCS and help local families in need. You can take part in a fundraising challenge on your own, in your class or with your wider community.
Let us know how your school will be supporting CCS's Lent Appeal!
