Story
Button Moon was adopted out to a home in January 2020 after having successful spinal surgery (campaign photo) . Unfortunately since the above photo was taken, his adopter did not keep her pet insurance going and over fed him so much another part of his spine has now collapsed...and he has now been given back to the rescue to foot the bill and save his life. Button Moon needed to stay slim and exercised and sadly has gotten fat and immobile.
This operation is going to save his life and get him more than adoptable again without any future health issues. We have around 5 days to raise the money to get him the CT scan and surgery at the Royal Veterinary college (the referral has already been made but we may have to cancel it if we cannot make the fundraiser total) - when we say we DO NOT have the cash we actually do not have the cash spare for him and have no idea what we are going to do if we cant raise it by the weekend as the RVC do not take payment plans. This poor chap has not only lost the only home he knows but is also facing a recovery journey in a rescue (not ideal for the poor chap)
We have never had a fundraiser more urgent than this!
Please share and donate, every penny will help save Button Moon. We do not have long and we really need you more than ever!
