Story
The Fifth Trust has planned a series of events to collectively cover the distance of the historic Pilgrims Way, a total of 222km!
Our fundraising efforts will kickstart in July where students and staff will cycle from Toddlers Cove to Chartham. Over the following fortnight, we will be holding a range of events, including walks, treasure hunts, bake sales and more. Our fundraising manager Mick James will even tackle a 20km stretch of the Pilgrims Way from Boughton Lees to Canterbury Cathedral.
The fundraising activities will conclude on 26 July with the return of our Team5T Triathlon. CEO Nikki Marley will brave a 2km swim, while our care & operations manager Mike Theoff gears up for an 80km cycle. Our chair Suzanne O’Brien will then take on a 5km run to the finish line.
Last year we were lucky enough to fundraise for new music studio equipment which has greatly enhanced our music sessions. However, the music building itself is in dire need of replacement and makes it difficult to make proper use of the recording equipment. We are looking to raise £4,000 to kickstart the rebuild.
Your contribution will transform our music building and enhance the lives of our students with learning disabilities. Donate today!
