Story
This winter will be tougher than most. But Londoners are there for each other. We will get through this, together.
In late March it became clear London faced an impending hunger crisis in the wake of Covid-19.
One million people had lost their incomes and applied for Universal Credit in just a fortnight; tens of thousands of elderly people were isolated at home and over one million children, usually eligible for free school meals, were suddenly at home.
The Felix Project responded quickly and decisively. Within a fortnight we were able to increase the equivalent meals we delivered from 20k to over 100k daily.
As of November, we have delivered in excess of 15 million meals this year - more than double what we achieved last year at 6.4 million meals.
Help us rescue and redistribute as many as 20 million meals this year to ensure thousands of families and individuals get the food they need this winter.
