Story

CLICK HERE to view a video clip of the project.

Between the 9th and 11th of September a team of 24 people will be attempting a charity walk up Ben Nevis in Scotland.

The team will comprise of clients and staff members from the early intervention team across West Kent and East Kent’s NHS Trust, along with members from Charlton Athletic Community Trust.

We are attempting to raise funds for the UK mental health charity, Rethink, and CACT’s own acclaimed mental health project. The challenge will also hopefully raise awareness for the charities and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

The trek will allow staff members and clients to gain a sense of achievement and help those with mental health issues in the recovery of their wellbeing.
