<p><span style="font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px;">On March 24th, Twestival returns with events in cities across the world, fundraising for local charities - and once again we&rsquo;re looking to organise a great event for Birmingham, bringing the local Twitter community together for a very good cause!<br /><br />The first BrumTwestival was held on 12th February 2009 and raised over &pound;1,500 for Charity:Water, a not-for-profit organisation bringing clean water to people in developing nations. Since then there have been two more events; one in September 2009 raising over &pound;1800 for Birmingham YMCA, and one in March 2010 raising over &pound;2000 for Concern Worldwide - a charity working in third world countries across Africa, Asia and Haiti.<br /><br />The next event is on Thursday 24th March and we're looking for ideas, suggestions and support to raise money for a local charity, Birmingham Children's Hospital.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px;">With your support we can smash previous years targets!!</span></p>
