We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

On March 24th, Twestival returns with events in cities across the world, fundraising for local charities - and once again we’re looking to organise a great event for Birmingham, bringing the local Twitter community together for a very good cause!

The first BrumTwestival was held on 12th February 2009 and raised over £1,500 for Charity:Water, a not-for-profit organisation bringing clean water to people in developing nations. Since then there have been two more events; one in September 2009 raising over £1800 for Birmingham YMCA, and one in March 2010 raising over £2000 for Concern Worldwide - a charity working in third world countries across Africa, Asia and Haiti.

The next event is on Thursday 24th March and we're looking for ideas, suggestions and support to raise money for a local charity, Birmingham Children's Hospital.

With your support we can smash previous years targets!!

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
