Story

You might be wondering who the "I" refers to on this page. Well, it’s actually the whole of the Bridges Ventures Team.

To mark our 10th Anniversary, we wanted to set ourselves a challenge. How far can the Bridges team travel purely through “human power” in six months? Our aim is to run, walk, cycle and swim a combined total of 20,000 km, the approximate equivalent distance of travelling pole to pole, from March to September 2012. Through this challenge we hope to reduce our carbon footprint, get ourselves fitter and, most importantly, raise money for our chosen charity, Springboard. We really appreciate your support in our challenge! To find out more about our challenge and to read our blogs, click here.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
